This Privacy Policy explains how Cycle Serenity and Asariko ("we", "our", or "us") handle information when you use the Cycle Serenity mobile application.

Summary

Cycle Serenity is designed with a privacy-first approach. Cycle Serenity does not require an account and does not store your cycle data on external servers. Your data remains on your device. Cycle Serenity does not transmit your personal cycle or app data to any external server. We do not sell your personal data.

Information You Enter in the App

Cycle Serenity allows you to enter information such as:

• cycle and period dates
• symptoms, notes, and daily logs
• preferences and app settings
• optional profile information such as a name or nickname

This information is stored locally on your device as part of the app experience.

Subscription and Purchase Information

If you purchase premium features, subscription and transaction processing may involve third-party platforms and services, including:

• Apple App Store
• Google Play
• RevenueCat or similar subscription infrastructure

We do not receive your full payment card details. Billing and payment processing are handled by the relevant store platform and service providers under their own privacy terms. We may receive limited subscription-related information necessary to determine whether premium access is active, such as entitlement or transaction status.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Cycle Serenity may schedule local reminders on your device, such as cycle reminders or daily logging reminders. Notification content may be visible on your device’s lock screen depending on your device settings. Cycle Serenity includes a setting to control this behavior ("Show detail text on lock screen"), which is disabled by default. You can control notification visibility through your device and app settings.

How We Use Information

We use information only as needed to:

• provide core app functionality
• display your cycle records, logs, and predictions
• store your preferences locally on your device
• determine premium access where applicable

Children’s Privacy

Cycle Serenity is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not collect personal information from any users, including children. All data entered in the app remains stored locally on the user’s device.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. Certain limited information related to purchases or subscriptions may be processed by third-party platforms such as app stores and subscription providers under their own privacy policies.

Examples may include:

• app store platforms for purchases and subscriptions
• subscription management providers such as RevenueCat
• legal or regulatory disclosures when required by law

Data Retention

Because core cycle and logging data is stored locally on your device, it remains there until you delete it, uninstall the app, or use in-app deletion tools. Subscription and transaction-related records may be retained by app stores or third-party billing providers according to their own retention policies.

Your Control Over Data

You have full control over your data.

You can:

• edit or delete individual entries within the app
• delete all data using the in-app "Delete User" option (which removes cycle history, daily logs, and personal settings)
• permanently remove all data by uninstalling the app

We do not retain copies of your personal cycle data on any server.

Data Security

We take reasonable steps to design the app with privacy and data minimization in mind. However, no method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Because data is stored locally on your device, its security also depends on your device’s security settings.

Because your data is stored only on your device and not on any server, you can manage, export, or delete it directly within the app.

International Use

If you use Cycle Serenity from outside the country where our business is based, local laws may differ regarding privacy and data rights.

Future Changes

We currently do not use third-party analytics or crash reporting tools. If future features introduce analytics, crash reporting, or cloud-based data storage, this Privacy Policy will be updated and clearly communicated before such features are used.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will post the updated version and revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Cycle Serenity after changes become effective means you accept the revised policy.
